PHPI Standards & Ethics define the professional, ethical, and jurisdictional requirements governing the institute’s certification and credential usage.
These standards exist to protect:
PHPI awards the credential:
PRP-C — Certified Precision Health Practitioner
This credential signifies completion of PHPI’s educational curriculum, competency-based assessment, and professional standards requirements.
In certain jurisdictions, use of the term “Practitioner” may imply state licensure or regulated clinical authority.
To support jurisdictional compliance, PHPI authorizes the alternate designation:
PHC-C — Certified Precision Health Coach
Both PRP-C and PHC-C represent completion of the same PHPI certification requirements. The alternate designation does not indicate a separate or lesser credential.
PHPI certification authorizes practice within the scope of education, behavior-change coaching, and health optimization support.
Individuals who hold professional licenses (e.g., physicians, nurses, allied health professionals) remain governed by their respective boards and professional regulations. PHPI certification does not expand, replace, or supersede any professional license.
Graduates must represent credentials accurately and transparently in all professional materials, including websites, social media, resumes, and client communications. Misrepresentation of certification, scope, or authority is grounds for disciplinary action.
